Ratatouille

Mid-Warwickshire

***HOME AS A PAIR***

Ratatouille (Ratty for short) the smaller of the two with the tabby face and Binx (Binky) with his big chunky white face are two beautiful 4-year-old tabby and white bonded brothers. They came to us utterly terrified of the world around them. Everything was frightening. Every noise and every movement. But slowly… with patience and quiet reassurance… they've blossomed.

Now they have confidence, they're gentle and they're affectionate. The bond between them is truly special, they take their comfort from each other, with Binx being the more confident of the two. Binx loves to be fussed and brushed and will roll for a belly tickle whereas Ratty is more reserved and looks to Binx for confidence and reassurance, he is getting braver by the day and will soon be as confident as Binx.

They’ve discovered the joy of play, cardboard boxes are a firm favourite, especially shredding them! chasing springs and balls is a close second.

What they need now is someone to give them the chance they’ve never truly had. A calm and quiet home, without children or other pets, and with a patient adopter who understands that love like theirs takes time. A home where they can completely settle, then have a gentle introduction to the great outdoors. Up until now they have always been indoor cats but they love the fresh air and are very curious about the outdoors. A quiet location away from busy roads would be best.

They won’t be the cats who rush to greet you on day one, but give them time… and they will give you something incredibly special. They’ve come so far already. Now they just need someone to take them the rest of the way.
