When a cat is welcomed into our care they receive a health check from our dedicated team. Cats are very good at hiding their pain, so it is about spotting the little signs that something isn’t right.. Sometimes these checks reveal unexpected problems and every year, thousands of cats in our care will need treatment and surgery.

Alongside any medical treatment, every cat receives endless cuddles, a warm, safe bed to sleep in, plenty of food, and toys to play with. And of course, we work tirelessly to match them with new, loving owners.

Swale Kitten Appeal

This spring we need help with all the kittens who are coming into care here at Swale Cats Protection.

We encourage owners to neuter their cats, but still have many requests for help each year as unneutered cats give birth in sheds, gardens and even tree trunks. 

Every kitten and cat will be cared for by our local vets to ensure they are healthy, vaccinated and neutered before we find them their new loving home. These veterinary costs mount up and can become even more costly when kittens arrive poorly, needing extra support including medications and sometimes operations.

This spring is no different and we already have kittens coming into care with us. Any donation is gratefully received to continue to help all the kittens and cats who need us.
Your donation would also help us provide: tasty and nutritional food for all our cats and kittens, and the extra that nursing mums need, specialist formula milk for hand-reared kittens, transitional food for weaning kittens and puppy pads and litter for toilet training.
