Our aim is to be an inclusive employer for everyone. The equality, diversity and wellbeing of our people is very important to us and our goal is for both our employees and volunteers to be able to be their true self at work.

We’re on a journey to make sure our workforce is diverse and inclusive to help us to reach our full potential as an organisation and by supporting our people to reach theirs. We’re making exciting steps forward through our newly launched employee forum, by working to decrease our gender pay gap and have recently established CP Pride – our LGBT+ and Allies network for employees.

James Yeates, Cats Protection’s Chief Executive, explains “We launched our CP Pride network to raise awareness of LGBT+ diversity and inclusion within Cats Protection and to provide social and development opportunities to those within the network and beyond. We want our people to feel supported, empowered and inspired when working with us and this network is part of this ongoing, amazing journey we’re all on together. At Cats Protection, we’re one huge cat-loving community and as a responsible community we’re constantly striving to deliver the best support for our people as well as the thousands of cats we help every year.”
