Abandoned cats need your help to escape danger this winter.

“Please can you rehome my nan’s cats due to her passing away”. This was the note left with Alpine, Lunar and Niblet. The three cats were abandoned in a sealed cardboard box outside our South London Cat Centre. Sadly, cases like these are now a regular occurrence.

We’re currently seeing a 34% increase in abandoned cats urgently needing our help. And in these colder months, our teams need to act urgently to save them from danger.

It costs us £936 to rehabilitate each abandoned cat that comes into our care. We provide routine essential veterinary treatment, food and employee time to get them ready for rehoming. These costs put extra pressure on our already stretched resources. But for an abandoned cat in desperate need, this could be the difference between life and death.

Our insight suggests that abandonments could rise again in the coming months. Please make a vital gift today to help abandoned cats facing danger this winter.

Claiming would turn £0.00 into £0.00 at no extra cost to you with the government adding the additional sum.
