Cats Protection specialist cat fostering service for those fleeing domestic abuse.

At Cats Protection, we offer Lifeline (formerly known as Paws Protect), a free and confidential fostering service for cats whose families are fleeing domestic abuse. Families can rest assured their cat will be taken care of until they can be safely reunited.

Referrals are handled by a specialist and experienced team, who support owners referring to the service, arrange to collect cats, and organise foster placements through a wonderful network of dedicated Lifeline volunteers.

Help us support cats and their owners in need

Through our Lifeline service, we provide vital help to survivors of domestic abuse and their cats. As many refuges are unable to accept pets, we offer alternative care in a temporary, loving foster home until survivors are able to be safely reunited with their cat.

We couldn’t do any of this without your generous donations. Please help us to continue our work.
