Interested in Volunteering?

At Cats Protection Isle of Wight we welcome volunteers with open arms. Whether you are young or old, male or female, there’s a place for you with us! Volunteering with us is really worthwhile and rewarding, and it doesn’t have to take up lots of your time. Whether you can offer help for an hour a week, a day a week or just the occasional day in the month - whatever time you can give, is a tremendous help to us.  As a volunteer, you’ll learn new skills, meet new people and be part of a dedicated team of staff and volunteers that make a big difference to the lives of cats and kittens on this island - and of course, to the lives of all those people that offer them homes.

If you would like to volunteer at your Isle of Wight Cats Protection, we’d LOVE to hear from you today!  And don't forget, in the meantime, you can keep up-to-date with all the news from our Centre by keeping an eye on our News and Facebook pages, or downloading our latest Isle of Wight newsletter.

How do I become a volunteer?

Take a look at some of the volunteer opportunities below, then get in touch and let us know what you’re interested in or how you’d like to help.  Just ask to speak to Emma Duffield, our Volunteer Team Leader - she would love to tell you more. (You might also be interested to take a quick look at some of the most commonly asked Questions and Answers about volunteering for Cats Protection).

Alternatively, simply ask us for a Volunteer Application form and we can either email this to you or send it to you by post. And don't forget, do feel free to pop along to the Centre any time during opening hours.  We would be very happy to show you round.

We look forward to welcoming you to the team!
