Lily's story was a tragic one that has already touched the hearts of many of our supporters. She was a sweet, brave mother. After 10 years of being bred for profit, Lily lost her life when her final kittens were only three weeks old. She never got the chance to be their mother nor find a loving home where she could have lived out the rest of her life in happiness.

Right now is the height of kitten season; vulnerable cats are being thrown out of their homes because they are pregnant. Unwanted litters are being left to suffer or even die on the streets. There could even be other cats like Lily who are being relentlessly bred for profit. Right now is the time of year that most of us look forward to, long days and sunny weather. But here at Cats Protection volunteers and staff are busy looking after an influx of kittens that need constant care and attention.

It's in Lily's name that we are asking for your support. We believe every cat's life is precious, if you do too, please donate today.
