We are a newly launched branch of Cats Protection, part of a network of over 250 volunteer led branches and 32 Cat Adoption Centres.

Our vision is a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.

Take a look around our website and find out more about us, what we do or how you can support us

Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date with what's happening at the branch.

If you would like to join us as a volunteer please have a look at our Support us page or our Volunteering section, where you can forward us your details and we will be in touch. We are particularly interested in volunteers who could foster cats and kittens, if you think this could be you please take a look at our news article for more information.

Please note:

We are taking a short break between 23-27 December 2020, however here is some information you might find useful:
  • To report mis-treatment and neglect, or you are worried about the health of a stray cat, call RSPCA on its emergency number 0300 1234 999 (England and Wales).
  • For sick and injured strays, please take them to your nearest vet practice immediately. Vets should provide emergency treatment and care to sick or injured animals at no cost to the finder.
  • For Rehoming, Adoptions, Donations, Volunteering and other non-urgent enquiries, please be aware we may not respond until after 27th December.
  • Our Contact Centre call handlers will be answering calls on all non-bank holiday days, however it's likely you will not receive a response from the branch team until after 27th December.
