Introducing Spring. Spring is a nine-year-old girl who came to Cats Protection when she was rescued from a tough life on the streets. Since being in our care, she’s been kept safe and warm with regular food and care from all our employees and volunteers. Spring loves nothing more than a warm lap to curl up on while she purrs the day away. However, she isn't too keen on being picked up, and often likes to do her own thing. She would prefer to be the only cat in a quieter household. Spring’s been in our care for over 150 days now, so she’d really like to find her forever home soon.

Mr Tango

Mr Tango came into our care when his owners relocated but were sadly unable to keep him. This reserved 11-year-old boy takes his time to build trust and prefers a patient approach. He thrives in a calm environment, where he can gradually build confidence at his own pace. Sudden movements and loud noises unsettle him. However, once he feels secure, Mr Tango is affectionate and enjoys giving head rubs. He also loves his fishing rod toy and is a big fan of catnip. Before adoption, Mr Tango will need some dental work and a thyroidectomy. Ideally, he’ll find his forever home in a quiet setting, where he can continue to grow in confidence, ultimately becoming a playful and loving companion.

Mystery

Meet Mystery, a one-year-old girl who came to Cats Protection from another charity. Originally from a multi-cat household, Mystery is a friendly and affectionate cat who enjoys attention. You'll often find her rolling around, chatting away, or seeking a bit of fuss. Mystery is currently caring for her young kittens, Gandalf and Endora, who are doing really well. She also came into our care with a bald patch on her nose, but this was checked by a vet and is healing well. She'll be available for adoption once her kittens are more independent and she's received all necessary healthcare. When the time comes, she'll make an excellent companion and will be looking for a home with outdoor access where she can go out and explore.
