Your special occasion can help cats like Rose 

Rose was found roaming the streets around Widdrington, Northumberland, and was brought into Cats Protection Northumbria. At 11 years old, she showed just how much love she still had to give. She was lively, chatty and full of character, enjoying the simple comforts she’d been without for so long: warmth, safety and a toy to chase. Yet Rose was overlooked for more than 130 days. Her fosterer, Dave, explained that street life had taught Rose to be brave and independent. She needed an understanding, experienced home where she could be the only pet, away from young children, and with outdoor space to explore and snooze in.  

After six long months, Rose was finally chosen and adopted into the calm home she deserved. Proof that with patience, foster care and support, even the cats who’ve been through the most can get their second chance. Your celebration fundraising helps make stories like Rose’s possible, by funding the rescue, food, shelter and vital veterinary care that cats rely on while they wait to be noticed.
