As a charity we can continue to help cats and kittens in need thanks to the donations we receive at fundraising events from generous members of the public. Our fundraising event helpers have the exciting and varied role of helping at local fundraising events - such as cakes sales, barn dances, quiz nights – and everything in between!

Join us as a Fundraising Events Helper and help make a pawsitive difference to cats, people and local communities!
At Cats Protection, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From cake sales to quiz nights, barn dances to street collections, you’ll help bring our events to life while raising essential funds for cats and kittens in need.
✨ What you’ll be doing:
• Helping to set up and run stalls at events
• Supporting supermarket and street collection days
• Getting stuck into fundraising fun—from quizzes to cakes and everything in between!
• Representing Cats Protection with pride
• Chatting with the community and helping build meaningful connections

⏰ Time commitment:
Totally flexible! Pick the events you’d like to help at and choose the hours that suit you. Whether it’s once in a while or as often as you’d like, every moment you give helps cats in need.
📍Location:
We encourage volunteers to spread their wings and get involved with as many events as they wish, so we support volunteering across not just Trafford , but also Manchester, Macclesfield, Warrington and Rochdale. If you wanted to help support events in any of these areas too, we can discuss this upon application 😁

This role is really flexible! You could choose to volunteer at one event for a couple of hours or attend multiple fundraising events.
We’ll keep you up to date with upcoming local events where volunteers are needed. You’ll then be able to choose which events you’d like to volunteer at and how many hours you’d like to give. However much time you can give, your contribution will help raise much needed funds to continue the work of Cats Protection.
