The difference you will make to cats and people

As a Cat Action Team (CAT) Community Lead you will have the important role of co-ordinating a team of Community Lost and Found volunteers. Using your excellent people management skills, you will support and encourage your team to help cats by providing advice and guidance to anyone who has lost or found a cat. You will also be pivotal in influencing the understanding of good cat welfare in local communities.

Please note that due to the nature of the role (transporting resources to and from events, cash security, etc) having your own transport is preferred but not essential.  

Any applicants under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian due to the nature of the role (Dealing with the public, cash handling, fundraising regulations, etc).

Time expectation

The time expectation for this role will vary depending on the number of volunteers and projects. Our Community leads usually spend between 10 to 12 hours per week in this role which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.
