Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By taking part in this event, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted them.

  1. By signing up for the event, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good and that you are healthy and fit (physically and medically) enough to enter and complete the event. You acknowledge that you are taking part in this challenge at your own risk. If you have any underlying health conditions that may affect your ability to participate, we recommend you seek appropriate medical advice before proceeding.
  2. Participants enter the event at their own risk and so far as permitted by law, Cats Protection shall not be liable for any injury or loss to persons or their property that might occur as a result of their participation in the event. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are sufficiently fit and healthy to take part in the event. Anyone unsure of their physical ability to take part in the event must seek medical advice from their doctor prior to the event.
  3. Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are wearing appropriate attire (including footwear) and in possession of the appropriate protections when taking part in the event, taking into account the nature of the event, the weather forecast and the terrain involved.
  4. Refunds are not available for the Roam for Cats registration fee of £20. It is also not possible to substitute the beanie hat included in the registration fee with another merchandise item.
  5. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must register for the Roam for Cats challenge on your behalf. Anyone under the age of 18 participating in the Roam for Cats challenge should complete their challenge accompanied by a responsible adult. Please ensure that the distance you choose to complete through this challenge (15, 50 or 100 miles) is appropriate for you or your child’s age and ability. Cats Protection is not liable for any children under the age of 18 who register to complete a distance too challenging for their age and/or ability.
  6. If you have opted to receive a beanie, please allow up to 14 days for delivery. Beanies will be sent using Royal Mail second class service and tracking is not available. If you have not received your beanie after 14 days, please contact the Events team at events@cats.org.uk or call 01825 741 960.
