  10. Cats Protection recommends that you bring fluids and snacks on long journeys taken as part of your challenge. Those using illegal substances/alcohol during their challenge are strictly prohibited from taking part.
  11. Cats Protection advises the following safety precautions regarding your glass water bottle:

    a)    Handle with care
    •    Glass bottles are fragile and can break if dropped or mishandled. Always handle them with care to avoid breakage
    b)    Cleaning instructions
    •    Hand wash the bottle with warm, soapy water. Avoid using harsh abrasives or dishwashers which can damage the glass
    c)    Temperature sensitivity
    •    Do not expose the bottle to extreme temperature changes, such as pouring boiling water into a cold bottle or placing a hot bottle in a cold environment. This can cause the glass to crack or shatter
    d)    Safe usage
    •    Use the bottle only for its intended purpose (for example, storing beverages). Do not use it to store chemicals or other potentially harmful substances
    e)    Storage recommendations
    •    Store the bottle in a safe place where it won’t be knocked over or dropped. Avoid placing it on the edge of a counter or shelf
    f)    Disposal of broken glass
    •    If the bottle breaks, handle the broken glass with care. Use gloves and a broom to clean up the pieces and dispose of them in a designated container for sharp objects
    g)    Responsible behaviour
    •    Never use the glass bottle as a weapon or in a manner that could harm yourself or others. Glass can cause serious injury if misused
