How to adopt a cat with us

Robbie

Leeds Cat Centre

Robbie came into our care after being found as a stray, so sadly we don’t know anything about his past or what he may have experienced before arriving with us.

Despite this, Robbie is a lovely, friendly boy who is beginning to learn that people can be kind and that gentle strokes are something to enjoy. Affection is on Robbie's terms and he has been known to nip while with us when it gets a bit too much for him. Therefore, he'll need patient owners who will give him the time and space he needs.

He’s still building his confidence, so he will need a calm and understanding home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue to grow in trust. With time, reassurance, and plenty of love, Robbie is sure to blossom into a devoted and affectionate companion.

We think Robbie would benefit from a calm adult only home and would need to be the only pet in the home. Robbie will need to have outdoor access once he is settled into his new home.

Please note, due to the volume of applications we receive, if you have not been contacted about your application within 10 days, you have unfortunately been unsuccessful on this occasion.
