There's a cat out there for everyone.

At Cats Protection we help thousands of cats find their perfect new homes every year. For some cats, it can take a bit of time to find that perfect match. While they wait in our care, they get all the food, love and attention they need. We can only provide this thanks to generous supporters like you!

To help the cats waiting patiently in our care, sign up to host a fundraising stream today.

Baby’s story

By fundraising for Cats Protection, you’ll be helping cats like Baby.

The average stay for a cat in our care is 43 days. But that’s the average. Some cats, like Baby, spend hundreds of days in our care, not knowing when their second chance will come.

Seven-year-old Baby could not settle in the busy home she had before. She wasn’t having the time of her life surrounded by people and children, and also needed surgery for a painful eye condition. Needing a little bit more love and care than the average cat, it took a while before Baby found her perfect forever home.

Baby was in our care for 337 days. This is the longest time a cat has spent in care at the Wales Cat Centre. Sue, our Wales Cat Centre Manager, said: “We were over the moon when Baby was adopted. Seeing the photos of her in her new home was an emotional moment for us.”
