Suspected poisoning in Nursery Hill, WGC

A cat was picked up today by the RSPCA from Nursery Hill, Welwyn Garden City and taken to the vets where it was thought that the cat had been poisoned, probably with anti-freeze. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do to save the cat and it was therefore put to sleep. The RSPCA carried out some research to try and discover the reasons why people don't neuter, who doesn't neuter and how to better target campaigns to try and persuade cat owners to neuter. We thought it would be useful to share some of their findings. Nationally 86% of female cats are neutered, but to stabilise the current population 92% of female cats need to be neutered.
