Giving hope to cats like Hope

By taking part in a Cats Protection event and donating, you help transform the lives of cats like Hope. Found in a garden with a severe tail injury, she was taken in by our West Norfolk Cat Centre in a critical condition, underweight at just 2.6kg and in urgent need of care.

Hope required immediate veterinary treatment, including the amputation of most of her infected tail. Following surgery, she needed extra support, such as a specially adapted pen, soft bedding, and a low-sided litter tray to keep her comfortable during recovery.

Thanks to the team’s dedication, Hope is healing well, growing stronger, and adjusting to life without a tail. However, her treatment has been costly and unexpected.
