In memoriam of Cecil Armstrong

REGIONAL Belfast Adoption Centre

18 May 2017
In memoriam of Cecil Armstrong

Cats Protection’s Belfast Adoption Centre was saddened earlier this year by the news of the passing of long term friend and supporter of the centre – Cecil Armstrong.

Cecil had visited the Belfast Adoption Centre on a regular basis since helping to rehome a friend’s cats through Cats Protection back in 1999.

Cecil was a true cat enthusiast who always loved to visit the cats and kittens in care of the Belfast Adoption Centre and never failed to arrive laden with gifts of cat food and toys.

The Belfast Adoption Centre was kindly presented on 7th May 2017 with an inscribed garden bench for the centre’s cat memorial garden by Cecil’s extended family. The inscription reads:

He loved these cats
“People who love cats have some of the biggest hearts around”

The Belfast Adoption Centre would like to take this opportunity to offer our deepest sympathies to Cecil’s family and to sincerely thank them for their very kind donation. We hope that it is a fitting tribute to Cecil and his love of cats.
