Tripod Peppa Finds the Perfect Home
REGIONAL Gosport Town
25 September 2017
Adopted in July 2017 after a few months in CP care Peppa well and truly has her paws under the table. She was one of two cats who came into care when their owner was unable to take them to new accommodation. There wasn't a bond between the two cats and they were put up for homing separately.
Peppa carried an old injury and due to the severity of the problem had a front leg amputated on vets advice. She coped well and was soon jumping from shelf to shelf in her foster pen.
Just a few weeks in her new home, owners Claire & Martin said that "Peppa has settled in really well. She's adorable and loves affection but is also very playful and energetic, running around after her toys.”
Claire explains "Martin saw Peppa on the Cat's Protection website and instantly knew he wanted to adopt her. She has been a joy to have in the home and has settled in really nicely. She is into everything - from cardboard boxes and cupboards to jumping into the fridge to see what is going on. She's playful and loving and has made a real difference in our home. Considering her leg was only amputated about a month before we adopted her, she has done really and well and has adapted really quickly. It's the best decision we've ever made and we couldn't be happier."
It's fantastic to see Peppa relaxed and having fun in her new home and it's heartwarming that Claire says "We hope it encourages more people to adopt cats - especially those with three legs!"
