A litter of five kittens have had a lucky escape after being rescued from a skip just minutes before it was due to be collected. On Friday 2 August, volunteers from Cats Protection’s Welwyn & Hatfield Branch were called to a business premises in Welwyn Garden City where the skip was located.

Tiny kittens dumped in a derelict caravan find new homes

Three five-week-old kittens that were dumped in a derelict caravan by the River Great Ouse have recovered from their ordeal and found new owners. The team at Cats Protection’s Downham Market Adoption Centre were alerted to the kittens on 1 July by workers who were carrying out maintenance at the end of the charity’s property.
